Short description:
I graduated as a teacher of History from the University of Pécs and post-graduated as an EU technical translater from the Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences. I have been working since 2010 as a librarian and since 2013 as the deputy chief of the Reader’s Services at the University Library of Pécs and Centre for Learning. Beside my Reader’s Service work I currently am the charge d'affaires of the University Library of Pécs and Centre for Learning Terminology Documentation Centre. In 2014 I acquired ECQA Certified Terminology Manager Basic qualification. I have an english advanced language exam.
Dr. Fischer Márta, PhD.
Holds an MSc in Economics and Translation with a law certificate (University of Pécs), an MA in European Studies (College of Europe, Warsaw) and a PhD in Translation Studies (Eötvös Loránd University) on EU translation and terminology. She is lecturer at the Language Institute of the Budapest University of Economics and Technology and researcher of the Terminology Documentation Center (TermDok) of the University of Pécs. She has been teaching EU courses, terminology and translation in Hungarian, English and German to students, teachers and civil servants. For several years, she worked for the Ministry of Education and was involved in EU, language and terminology related projects. Her research focuses on EU multilingualism, translation and terminology. As an ECQA Certified Terminology Manager (CTM) trainer, she was actively involved in the development of the advanced and basic CTM-training. Within this framework, she regularly holds webinars and terminology courses for TermNet (International Network for Terminology) and in the TermDok Centre.

Since 2000, I have been an examiner of English for medical purposes at PROFEX (Examination Centre for State Accredited Professional Language Certification). I also teach exam preparation courses.
